Missing Something

How many times in a day you feel the above, today as i am sitting alone, this thought comes up in my mind every now & then. This one thought hits everybody & hits u hard when you are the most busy in life.

For months, i have been on a ride, a ride of experiences, learning,fast paced life where you want to keep everybody happy.But i have not been at my best at many situations & have been absurd,pathetic & have acted low. But all this time, i din realize, i was missing on anything, i was jus moving in one direction which i thought was right & ignoring everything i kept on moving.

Slowly, i was turning into a loner which something, i was never. I dunno whether i was liking it or not or i am gonna continue with it. Today i miss spending some more quality time with her, today i miss having some fun with frendz rather than just opening facebook & getting to know whats happening.

Now She's gone & i feel , it would have been much better if i would have fought less over where to eat, to go shopping or not, to walk or to talk. Today i miss everything & i got to know, i liked even waiting outside the trial room & having endless paani poori everytime. I liked the fights over "Pink" colour & length of my hair.
I miss watching a movie 2-3 times with her, entering the theatre late & then sleeping in between. I miss waiting for her to go through dozens of clothes & picking another dozen to come to a conclusion to pick one. I miss our shoplifting experience. I miss the late night auto rides,going back home...

I miss waiting outside her place (something i have fought the most about it bringing her to tears). I miss my experience with Sambhar rice & other stuff including eating with hand.

I miss the walks, I miss begging her to let me smoke one & jus one cigarette.I miss she shrugging for paying the auto driver more & her lectures on saving money :)

I miss her annoying talks on how she messed up her exam & i reading her out the discussion on forums, how she has not messed up.

I miss paying for her shopping bills, which exceed my budget & then she returning them back to get something for me.

But the most i miss is being with her, just sitting and talking endlessly & she listening as she is most bothered.

But something i missed on the way was saying "Sorry" & "Thankyou" more times than i said.
I missed on giving her flowers, though she said 100 times indirectly to me. I missed on being more understanding, when she was going through some bad times.I missed on saying, "For me too", when she said, "These were the best 6 months ever".
I hope we get another chance to live the above moments & I'l try to make it up in the best possible way.

When you miss Frendz

This post is not Sentii, So plz dont take it that way & its not gay. LOL
This post is dedicated to all the great human beings with whom i cherish my frendship.

This is about remembering some good old times when u sat with frends, talked bullshit & gained wisdom out of it. I miss those times today, in contrast to these days,where my day starts with sitting in front of my 127.0.0.1 & ends up there with a can or two in my hand.
But you miss all that freaking out, pulling legs session, talking about things like "After-Life" or weird ones like,appu's fav "Kiski biwi uska kya haal karegi" , with the most hilarious predictions.

I miss the times, when ppl use to come to my room to have a smoke or when i used to go to Bihari's or Gogo's Room when short on them(Cigs). I miss that one last cig which we used to share,everybody trying to drag the most out of it.,a whole pack today won't suffice today as the former was fun.

I miss the chaotic game plans made by chimp & arpat to win there dota games against raju & party. I miss stealing out Chimp's Pinnis when hes fckin busy playin DOTA.

I miss the plans we used to make, like "Who will keep which pet when hel be a billionaire" & what not.

I miss me n raghav pulling hash's leg over everything, right from his Beard to long hair.
I miss Drunk Bhai.
I miss Nath, scratchin his head on the morning of any exam, confused as to where to start or whether to start or not.

I miss Harsh for all those Navy Cuts & all the good times at velinos.
I miss commenting on Jazzy's Baby Legs.

Nagraj !!! U jus cant forget the name, leave apart the personality.

I miss Nbabu, for his Kaju Barfi & his practical but honest comments.

I miss the Gogo,walking up n down the corridor on the day of Maths Tests.

I miss Bihari for his sentiap on fckin everything.

I miss Chandy for his Chandyaap.

I miss Buddha, playin with sm instrument which falls under electronics & not allowing me n raghav to bother him at that time.

You can't Miss Appu, hes always around pulling your leg, hes like the glue which makes us all stick together in all good n bad times.

Above all, i miss all the good times we all lived in that corridor. All that, jus keeps coming back & will always n puts a smile on my face.

The right thing

Today i experienced something that shook me for the rest of my life.Dunno it"l keep me affecting till when but i faced the reality of life.

Yeah the bitter truth that we see each day surpass us each day n each second but we jus believe that its nt real, its jus sum thing that we feel but is nt real.
I meet people, meet different personalities, i am 21 years of age and according to me i am old enough to see things which are transparent and which of them are just translucent.

In all these years, i was trying hard to get education, trying to be at the top of the class in terms of grades or skills if nt grades, falling distant apart from the bitter reality of this existent world.
Bt today when i gt into the slums of my country or slums of dis world, i face similar situations which i have read in my books, which i thought just of as hypothetical in my fantasy world or u might have spoken of them in your presentations in your social responsibility lectures.

Bt the harsh reality is nothing has changed much in developing countries like us, the rich has become more rich, the poor has become more poor and the middle class has improved itself in putting more effort than earlier, so basically nothing has changed..

The change has come, but wat if these changes just affect a portion of our population just those who understand dese changes & those who were wealthy enough to create them in the first place.What abt ppl who don't even know that dese changes tuk place in real. For them its still that tough fight for survival & nothing more.They are still fighting those evils created by the custodians of society who had access to more power & wealth.

21 years back, Slums were still slums 21 yrs from now slums will still be slum, then wat are ppl like us doing, what is the importance of education.
If education satisfies that my country can be 3rd in the race for no. of lunar missions than no. of slums and no. of female babies being killed annual, wat will we prefer.

Education to me after today has lost its colour and the integrity it offered.
Today i met a guy, who earns a little amount of money to feed his family in a petty bar, wherein i went to satisfy me quench for the frustration against this world. Luckily, he was doing the same.

He told me, he loved his kids and his wife, but he can't earn that much to educate his kids. He loved his wife but he had to make her wife undergo a surgery to control the number of kids who were spaced just 6 months & even less den dat. He wants to educate his kids and be like us but then education in itself today is a business and he can't satisfy the requirements of that business.
So maybe, his kids won't end up like us who will get access to education/quality education that your or my kids will get access to but than who do we blame dis for???

Education is a monopoly, knowledge was d term it was called before this, but then economics, a study of money and business came in the picture and destroyed everything.

Today we blame, illiteracy for a lot of deeds in the world, at times we blame countries, at times we blame particular societies for it. Terrorism, the biggest black spot on the collar of the world community is lack of education.

But then, ain't we, who have access to this kind of knowledge has made difficult for other people to gain access to our knowledge bank. We have split ourselves into communal profited organizations who impart knowledge/ethics based on monetary benefits.

The one whos taught by the registered church is a follower of a particular religion making ppl believe in certain ethics, but then whos a terrorist, hes just a follower of a certain rules of ethics taught to him by some teacher.
Being Ethical & unethical is just a belief of on wat side of the situation you are,
But if we wudnt have created distinction amidst ppl who impart and who gain education, the world would have been a better place i guess.

We concentrate on living in a world which is better for us & not for all, we all are just selfish as anybody.
The present religion taught us, present education has emphasis on it, but if we ever want a change, we need to understand, Thers only one thing which existed from Day1 & till the end is humanity because we were

Born Alone, To live Alone but in coherence to the fact that we"l keep people around us to live too.
Because survival for many years is considered to be a selfish thing.

We need to diminish, i am from this country, this society, this class of ppl, this race.

Its time to believe in the fact we are humans & what we do is to help each other & not to help our country,our religion,our race etc.

So believe in urself & the people around you & help them to get them on the right path.

Random Thoughts

There are many times i have jus written utterly wild thoughts some of which don't even connect back to give them a meaning,to be true since many days i have blogged only when i felt like lets throw some shit out & feel a bit better.Hence,all the crappy posts with not much meaning attached to them.

Today i felt like writting something not out of vain,not out of joy but something else which i can't define,some might call it satisfaction,some might call it joy,some happyness but for me its a state of _________ , i don't know wat it is but i feel like im not the guy i used to be,things have changed & they changed for the good perhaps.

My anger has gone down from what it used to be,patience which was one trait was nowhere found in me is slowly developing.The carefree atitude is still there but with certain suttleness.
I have started enjoying the small small things in life rather than running & crying for the BIG things.I have even found joy in electronics,something which i din use to like. since it has more hardwork. & Can say now after seeing both sides,This side has got much tougher terrain.

I am not a workaholic anymore,i think of other things too,care for her too.Some new dimensions have arrived in my world & its adjusting itself without any pain/regression.

I have left words like "I" & started using words like "We".I fight less with people.I end debates or casually smile or walk away from the debate rather than fighting on & on knowing that i am wrong jus becoz i am adamant.
I smile more than i used to though i crack less jokes on others becoz thats something i used to do so that i can think i am not the only one whos a joke in this world.
Monetary things never intrested me & they don't still.I am less afraid of failure,to be true in a way i am not seeing something as a failure,it mite be just another way of reaching success.

Success, this word has completely changed its meaning for me becoz success is not dependent on ONE single thing now,it has its own attributes & each one of it gives equal satisfaction.

Its like i am becoming more of a person,i always saw in others.
It makes me feel i am loosing my identity, but than theres a satisfying possibility of rediscovering yourself for the good of you & others around you.

I have never been so alone & i have never been supported so much.Its a mix of both.
She has been there everytime to listen to watever i have to say & then not telling me to compete with the world if i have failed.
With her,i feel i don't have to fight anymore to prove myself becoz she dsnt want me to prove anything.It feels good to know somebody,who does'nt ask for something before giving.

People fight,we fight too, perhaps more than the normal mark,but than both of us know they are out of our differences in personality & not out of anything else.

Mayb all the above is finding solace,if it is than i can say its after a very long dull grey period & the credit goes to her.

Freedom to Get High

Now this blog post is dedicated to our dear health minister of the country who has been praised for putting ban on "Smoking" nationwide & thus affecting the lives of hundreds of smokers, who choose to smoke by there own will & not by seeing some hollywood actor on the screen puffing.

Now i want to ask a few questions, i think everybody wants to ask them as long a person is a genuine smoker & is a genuine human being.

1)Major reason behind d ban is told to be passive smoking???

According to ramadoss,he dsnt care abt smokers, all who cares abt is the general junta who dsnt smoke but passivly inhales the smoke due to a nearby smoker.
He doesnt want to improve the life of a smoker by maintaining standards of rehabs or increasing the numbers of rehab or teaching the young generation what is good & what is bad.

Going more deep into the matter.A Large number og ppl die out of smoking.But when u"l see the stats closely, u"l get to know that this ban aint gonna chnge things much rather dan being a propoganda.
Half of the ppl who die in the nation are illiterate & who smoke BIDI, who dsnt go to Pubs,Cafes etc to smoke,who smoke inside factories,jhopadis & at tea stalls.
Your ban Cant stop these ppl from dieing,bcz they ain't literate enough to know the harmful things that can happen to dem while smoking.
Ur ban dsnt put chain smokers in rehab by doing a profile check,bcz u dnt hv enough rahab centres in the nation.
In my 21 yrs of life i have never seen a rehab centre in my city,i dunno whether it exists or not.
It exists but then its nt poularised bcz than u"l need resources to maintain standards,so this work is left on NGOs rather dan govt doing such things itself.

Now according to the health minister, above points are worthless bcz he is NOT AT ALL concerned abt health of a smoker hes rather more concerned abt d one in the passive mode.

Now lets ask him another question???

How many ppl in our country die outof lung diseases bcz of SPMs in air i.e particulate matter or in short POLLUTION.
I think nobody can accept that more ppl die out of passive smoking or there health gets affected more by a an active smoker standing nearby or an auto moving in the city putting out black fumes out.

How many cities have implemented CNG???

A Handful,bcz we are not concerned of the ppl dieing, we are concerned abt vote bank/media & hype as long as we r a minister.
Our health minister says, "UK implemented the ban jus like ours & half the ppl quit smoking"

Now UK is completely different, they have high literacy rate & ppl dont smoke BIDIS in chimney factories.
& moreover they implemented anti pollution laws first before anto smoking laws.
I live in bangalore, a metro of my country & i m a smoker, i can say, i spend 2 hrs of my day on the road & i m a smoker too & i can say, my health is equally affected by my smoking habbit as well as me on a polluted road for 2 hrs.
A percent of our population smokes, but our whole population is on the road.
We will have anti smoking bans but we wont ask ppl to start using public transport to reduce pollution that jus dsnt affect us now but our whole generation & even the next generation.

I m nowhere in favour of smoking,though i m a smoker but than we have to give rights to ppl to choose what they want to do.Ppl in USA Are becoming obese but that dsnt mean u"l ban French fries.
And moreover if u r concernerd abt a non smoker than please for heaven's sake shut those black fuming vehicles.

Moreover, if you go deep into the ban, it becomes even more baseless.

"You are not allowed to smoke at public places but you are allowed on the road & parks"
Now i think our health minister forgot his primary education as to which are public places & which are semi pvt.
Nobody was allowed to smoke in malls,theatres anyways, nobody was saying against it or anything.
But not allowing ppl to smoke in pubs,bars etc where of done a routine check,9/10 ppl would be smokers.
I think that 1 guy whos a non smoker should be allowed at that place, but than thats not right too bcz everybody has RIGHTS.
So now you don't allow ppl to smoke in pubs & bars, but you allow them on the road.
So now smokers are on the road & parks & affecting ppl more than before.

A Perfect example would be an IT Company with some 25k employees, just see what happens outside the premesis at lunch time, i hope i can take a pic of that one day and show to Ramadoss.

So basically, the ban is on non justified reasons & is done to create a hype, our ministers have to ACT, bcz they are there to ACT, but the basis of the ACT as always will be unjustified.

Now hes coming up with another ban.

"Ban on liquor in public places like pubs,bars etc"

Now somebody tell him pubs & bars were created for ppl to consume liquor, they were not created so that ppl can come and have a snack after there morning jog.

Now he adds, " More ppl die out of passive drinking than passive smoking"
Now another theoritical concept of "passive drinking"

According to this concept, "An human being drives into the state of actions after noticing the environment around him & which alters his decision making process"

In other words, if i see a guy drinking, i"l get motivated to drink alcohol & loose my decision taking ability bcz i saw another person drinking or i saw an advertisement of it.

Now how in the world can somebody accept such non sense.
If we start considering these theoritical concepts than i think we"l come up with new definitions like "Passive Sex/Rape"
Wherein i"l get motivated to rape a girl,bcz shes wearing a mini skirt.
So lets ban mini skirts in public places like restaurants,cafes etc.

Our health minister has either lost hope in the brains of a human being living in this country (mayb he thinks everybody is like him)

More over when somebody popped the question "Why no drinking at pubs??? "
Isn't that seem a bit odd.

He said " wat do u expect fro me to ban drinking in temples,hospitals etc wherein ppl dnt drink neways"
Thats one lol comment u"l ever see.
Moreover our health minister dsnt go by stats which are produced after state wide bans of liquor in gujrat.

Stats show after ban "Gujrat is top on the list of states consuming alcohol products & tops the list in terms of spirited alchol which kills ppl "

Now if our health minister wants illicit alcohol players to enter the market & ppl start dieing more often than i think such a ban will be a great thing n we"l be luking frwrd to it.

Moreover i think he has lost his medical degree somewhere down the line.
"According to studies, moderate drinking is good for health"

According to his new mission "People won't be allowed to get high anymore"

Reasons, nobody knows , if this ban comes i think. it"l be more unjust than the former ban.

So lets assume next step by our govt will be:

"Dont inhale more air, ur taking oxygen from the ppl nearby, its bad for ther health or fines for farting at public places"

And mayb in future, "No mini skirts, no ads with a cleavage of a female etc etc "

Bcz according to theory, we mite develop instinct to rape a gal which we see the next time.

I think ramadoss, should show some faith in the mental abilities of the citizens of this country rather than using his theories on ppl.

Money,Sex,Food

I don't know how many of you reading this will agree,but according to me the only three evils of any society in the universe are Money,Sex & Food.
They affect our lives to such an extent that we Live only for them & end up dieing for them too.

Whenever i walk on the road,sniff the polluted air,hear that Buzz of vehicles & experience the surroundings.Something i used to do since i was a kid was to stand & jus observe flocks of ppl & wat they are doing & at times used to share a smile or a childish laugh with myself seeing there activities.
But now when i stand & see the crowd,i jus see a RACE,where humans are being converted into Horses or donkeys or watever that runs fastest and comes Cheap (Yeah..Cheap..This is a cheap race of Life) Winner is not the one who moves the fastest but the one who is consistent enough to do it EACH DAY becoz the Race is for each day & if u r participating,u can't be away from it for a single day,yeah but since the RACE is so hectic u can quench ur thirst with a gulp of entertainment provided by media or by using your resources for some luxurious drive aways.

Now the question is why all of dis started & When....

I think nobody has an answer to When,some say ppl went mad after industrial revolution & trade being promoted in various countries of GondavLand.
But i"l give my perspective on Why rather than When....

The answer to why is within these three evils.
Money,Sex & Food.

Our First evil is Money,
Humans kill humans to get these green labeled papers,cheating,fraud,schames & endless race of this utter chaotic world to increase the no. of 0s in ur bank balance.
I remember one quote,
The number of 0s increaes in ur bank balance,that Zeroes ur life by the same extent.
Money,Money.Money...Everybody is crying....Everybody wanna be BIG,have a GREAT Life & for that u need money. I think thats the worst concept. Initialyy in old times,Kings thought the same & wat happened to them is just a history in modern times.
But the difference now is that everybody is thinking like a KING in terms of how to enrich there lives & that is jus by money.
Hope future will jus take us & our such enriching thoughts as mere history pages & future generations will be much more artistic than just being labourous.
Today we r LABOURS with the atitude of a king.

Second Evil is SEX.
Its another kind of hunger other than having food that revives the animal inside.
Basically everything that u do is to have sex with another mate.According to me,money is a lesser evil than SEX becoz our animal instincts are still stronger than our ethics.

Mayb if u r reading this,this might be a part of the long tale leading u to a sex partner.
Ppl wear clothes,speak languages,come up with inventions etc ,jus to get laid somewhere else or the other.
A Right hand is indeed the greatest Gift.
The very much existence & evolution of socities leads to this evil,this is one evil that made humans to create hiarchies,designations,classes,regions,religion & wat not.
Religion was created to bound sex in a comminty.
Regions were created to bound the outreach of sex.
Classes,designations & Money created to define the BEST SEX Partner for a mate.
(Obviously i m not considering this holds true everytime,but who created all these was certainly SURE on wat hes trying to do.)
Everybody wanted POWER to SHOW Power & by showing power,u will get the best partner.
Deep down its jus the animal instinct governing.
Ppl working in NGOs,social welfare,even charity is a part of all this.

Third evil is food.
Ppl won't belv it,but the world would have been very different if we would have to eat Less or nothing at all.If everybody eats sun rays than we would have covered the whole sky & ppl would have lended air space for that too.
So its a different kind of evil,Its not a human created evil, its natural & thereby we never give importance to it too....

So thats how these three evils will continue to exist in present & mayb future socities.
But i hope some 10000 years from now the RACE started by these three evils will come to an end & souls will than only die in peace on this planet.

6)Who was caught by ARC Head's wife & wat exactly were they doing,that made her fire a gud no. of letters to guys n chics parents.

7)Was there somebody caught naked in the main building??? & who mailed "i have fucked **** n many more girls to everybody"

9)No. of gays n lesbians on campus??? Do dey exist???

Faking Credentials !!! A Pity State

Today morning a frend of mine bumped into me with a resume of a Batchmate of mine (a female) who got into one of the best companies in software design & in geeky lingo is part of YMG (naah..im nt talking of M & G,u r smart enough to guess it)

Now the things that shocked me were these.

First of all, me being an active student of my campus (Active in respect that i know What people r associated with what kinda clubs,fests etc etc & basically i know what shitheads do,what the geeks do & what do the other guys do), i just got shocked seeing a series of fake things in that CV of one female of my batch,who has got a VERY HIGH CGPA & is always in an around the profs in my dept.

In the extra curricular activities section, theres nothin but a series of lies, that anybody can testimony who would have known this person or has worked for the stuff this person has said that SHE DID.

The journals are not by her,since a publishing author requires to put names of students,she is dere.

The other thing that shocked me was that the points in the achievements & awards section???

Are they really worth mentioning,everybody who has come to BITS,If not all 9/10 guys down are here School toppers or school subject toppers, if ppl start mentioning all this the resume will never end, Will it???

U can write this also then,i got a choclate from my dad when i nursed my sick CAT, thats a fckin better achievment i guess.

Now why m i furious, I don't care what people like dis female do, but i am affcted by the flaw in the system.

People will come,write any fake thing on there resume,just becoz they have something known as a strong CGPA & nobody will question the credibility of the facts they have given.

It affcts me more, becoz the stuff that she fakes reduces or nullifies the effort of someone who put his heart or soul into that activity which according to her fake facts is done by her.

Moreover, i m affected by the fact, that just to secure a better future, they fake stuff without knowing the fact that any lie on ur credentials will affct you n only you in the future.
Mayb thats why pink slips are so common to freshies these days, who cheat in talent acquisition process & then fail to deliver.

Moreover, i m affected by the system that judges such fake & irrelevent points.

Moreover, this person has been caught CHEATING in the compree exam not once but twice, but just becoz this person has a gud reputation amidst profs becoz of her slogging power has got away there also whereas a frend of mine who is 100 times more talented than the above person was made to go though loads of shrugging & in the end gettin a 0 in the exam ( yeah..lab exam not compree) jus becoz they guy has a low GPA.

Thereby i pity on the system which identifies such fake identities as the REAL Jewels of the college's pride. I pity on a college,which will put these guys as dept toppers who in turn is reducing there credibility.

I can now say, i no more regret the fact that i m not a student with high GPA, becoz even after scoring so high within the system, i have to fake credentials, than it was never worth it !!!

1. Modeling and Design of Microcantilever Sensors. This project was aimed at providing the comparison of frequency response of different shaped microcantilever beams. Performance was based on the basis of both resonant frequency and geometrical parameters. Research and experiments carried out revealed that the overall cantilever design that produced optimum sensitivity was the rectangular shaped microcantilever.

2. Electrical Requirements of BITS Pilani-Goa Campus from 2004-2010.This mammoth project aims at forecasting the electricity requirements of BITS Pilani, Goa Campus in the near future. This shall be based on the consumption in the previous years and the present growing demands of the campus.

For a very long time, i have been accessing other people accounts,some in college,some school mates,some of them whom i don't even know.
Today i was going through one such account & read a few conversations about how there lives are turning BIG,these guys are going to USA,start there lives & live there dreams.

Yeah !!! Dreams that word struck me & suddenly it came to me what am i doing???

Presently, i am just trying trying to find out what interests me, i have been successful in chalking out a couple of things but its still vague & the path is a difficult one.

These days, i see every guy/gal around me preparing for GRE/CAT. People want to go to USA,study hard & in the end earn pride && Loads of bucks,Marry a hot chic or in case of chics itself marry a guy with a hefty salary that too in USD :)

Or ppl want to be a MBA,get there degree from the prestigious B-Schools & then they do the same.

For the past few years,i have been listening to these things & have been asking myself, What do you want to do??? Actually,These days the question is "Wat the fuck do u want to do??? "

Everytime i asked myself GRE/CAT???,which is the usual two options after being an engineering graduate in India.
I always ended up with a "No",ppl are amused after seeing such a reaction but i have my own reasons.
I see people going for such courses just for the sake of pride & money.
Some people have interests but majority of them do not even know wat is there interest???

I was going through one such US MS/Phd aspirant account & found that he din even know which universities to go for which he has to choose after closing her GRE Score which was around some 1500,leave apart the course/interest he wants to pursue.

About such cases.i can see it was good that there parents have enough money to shell out to get there wards signed up for a degree in USA.

Nevertheless,my point is why should i do something which doesn't interest me,i defied my undergrad learning of electronics becoz it absolutely doesn't interest me & did whatever i wanted to do, be it leaning programming,hacking or writing a couple of shitty ebuks on my college girls.

Second thing about all this is the money race, everybody wants to be rich,nobody wants to do what they actually want to do???
Thats why India is so short of acclaimed artists,Indians are worldwide known for doing routine jobs & than China gives them competition there too.

My parents call me eccentric when i say, i want to do something that makes me happy rather than i get to dine in a five star hotel every weekend.

I hate being tied up to something & do it the regular way whereas i see everybody just doing it the other way round.

Today,
I want to shout & say, i fucking don't want to be MS or MBA just becoz everybody around me is doing that.

But i dunno,whether i am doing something wrong becoz its like i see myself sitting & exploring a few things while others are already in the race.

Mayb dwon the years people will call me a looser but i want to be a happy looser rather dan a sad,tired winner !!!

We all are like a dyslexic student, who are asked by everyone around us to be First in there class.

Life is a race but not if you don't want to come first !!!

I was thinking to write something since many days but was'nt able to pen it down becoz of the hectic/monotonic/Fuck-Shit schedule of mine.

Today as my mentor has seen me sitting in the office & went by me without asking me to come & sit with him and code for the next few hours with him for an ongoing project.
I like that part but i dread too.
I like it becoz it ain't C, so im learning something new. I hate it becoz i have to sit in front of the machine & program it there, but the catch is that its a pain in the ass & that pain is real not literal.

If the mentor is not in the mood to work today, mayb i"l b able to complete this post which can turn out to be lengthy.

About Home:
We live in a Guest House...Yeah we enjoy all luxuries of a guest...LOL... Jus kidding..Sleeping is difficult..ain't it...

Ohh We get Food & Andaaas...Three of us can smoke though after closing the door.
Its in NGV, koramangala. I dunno whether bangalore junta knows about this place or not but there are hot chics everywhere which has forced Appu to walk from Forum to our place i.e 2.5 kms, So that he can get a glimpse of 50 odd hotties on an average run of 2.5 kms.

If at all he turns lucky, though the probabilty of it is minimal, then ppl like Gogo aka Vivek might turn up walking a bit more too.

I like the way they work, they are a growing company so everybody does everybdys work, thers not such distinct chain of command that is followed here.
Ppl are really frendly out here & i can talk to my mentor after having a Cig.
Murthy, the only other guy in my PS as an intern is kinda funny & funny things keep happening to him. one such is that he Got his machine in front of his mentor, whos kinda strict, so he can't chat,finally after lot of trial & errors, he has got a place in the "Intern Zone" as i call it, where ppl come pretty early & leave late.Naaah..Not much work we do...LOL..

As per freedom is considered, i watched a movie online & a downloaded a couple of them, as far as murthy is concerned, he has downloaded some 10 gigs of Other LANGUAGE movies.

Yeah..but two days back, i got my location changed & put on wireless rather dan LAN Cable connectivity, so im not liking it, as i always like the hard way round.

Bangalore for me till now has been just about Beer i guess on weekends as far as my drinking exp is concerned.

I think that sums it all for today..

Being an Electronics Engineer

Yeah... Sounds cool but its fuckin difficult & even more for a guy like me who doesnt share d same passion fr circuits as i have for software designs..
But luckily (Yeah...) i found something for myself in this dangerous world of electronics where i can use my favorite part of electronics to do something useful..
Yeah there's onle one part of electronics i like and that is to create system designs which we were taught in Digital electronics & Computer organisation, one of the few subjects which i liked n scored gud too...

So i m given to work on Labview graphical programming & since most of my work would be in event driven programming , im these days learning and kinda bugged by state machine architecture.
Those of you who don't understand state machines, plz google it out or ask amalin to teach u, (Amalin == God)

Till now it seems kinda easy but den when i strted gettin into it, its kinda gettin complicated.
Right now i m stuck at a place where multiple case structures are use concurrently to attain parralelism in the code.

This thing gets a bit more compliacted than coding becoz in coding as in u code an application/UI/Framework, the C/I have done the small bits of work for you to a gud extent.

For example, writing a program to light an LED with some delay include boggling of mind too in this case.

Here is an insight into the world of a few BITSians whom i can call as my frend forever & most importantly I m dere frend.
I thought about writing a few things but then u can't best describe through words at times, u can describe through images/signs.So i thought i"l cm up with a picture story to describe "the corridor of 2009"

So here it is....

Thats Called Being "Different"

Two mates with completely different backgrounds & "Aadats" as dey say but still mane a things in common.On the left is "Nath" or scratch Nath,who wudn't hv been in the pic if there wud have been more vodka on WAVES08 Nite.Hope u din miss the incident.
Nath suffers from a lot of diseases, most dangerous being "MIA", its actually an actress that Maynard is obsessed to an inexpressible extent.
One the right is "Arpat",He suffers from a disease known as "Being in EEE",which is curable onle after you pass out from BITS or commit suicide here & help other EEE guys.but his Suicide ain't gonna help becoz of obvious REASONS.
So here they are Nath & Arpat.&Look out for Arpat's Hand, he is obsessed with destroying other guys suit in the pictures :)

Dats Called Being "DeCSperate & EccEEntric"

Two mates who add flavour to the corridor team.The Left One is Lethal.His life at times has one motive i.e Kisi ki itni lo ki woh saala suicide ker le aur uski Maayiat aka Death ceremony per free ka khaana mil jaaye.Ohh i forget to introduce him. He is our very own Apoorv Anand Vajpayee.Naam se seedha baccha but I can bet issey bada "ITEM" u can never meet in ur life.
According to apoorv, hum logo kuch bhi kerle humaara kuch nahi ho sakta aur ladkiyo ke case mein to bilkul hi nahi ho sakta. Desperate for food & obviously girls & gets eccentricly Gatish at times.
Talking of eccentricity, U can't beat the guy on the right. Buddha aka Sid aka Sid_bloke , is obsessed with CHANGES of every kind. Has one aim in life, to try every fuckin thing on the planet, dese days hes trying "Being Commited" :) .The largest Porn sharer on the LAN,gt an award for that. LOL.He is the caretaker of two kids in the initial semester i.e Hash & Nath, the name buddha comes from that, but these days d kids have strted smoking too much & d virtual dad is busy wid something else..hehehe....
Yaa... Y dese two together??? LOL... i"l tell y..
Apoorv has predicted that Sid will be d first one to get divorced [For reasons ask the man himself]
So here they are together,if the prediction goes true, i hope both of them will luk at the above pic & shed a smile.

Thats Called Being "Happy & Silent"

Have a Close luk at the pic, It luks like a perfect couple.. [ I know both of em ain't gonna like d comment LOL ] To be more precise, these are partners in all kinds of stuff.U"l later get to know how.
The person on the left is Gogo aka Vivek. Don't worry, hes not related to crime master Gogo in neway, nevertheless hes harmless.Gogo is one of d most 'happiest' species in the corridor, who at times seem to be so carefree that the affect starts to show on other mates. Gogo is the proud member of the Valeno Gang, about which i"l tell later.
One thing that gogo has taught us all is how to be up all night during examz. Hes a master at that right from the first semester.All in all, dats called being "Happy"
Now Coming to one of d most respected,feared about personality of the corridor. For the Corridor junta, Dats called "Being Harsh" but for the rest dats called "Being Silent".
If you poll it out amidst the corridor junta, who are u feared of, 9/10 will say "Harash Babu".
To me, Hes like an elder brother, but yaa a spoiling one too.. if u are corridor junta.. u"l knw y hes a spoiling one.One of d most serious guys, i have seen in my 20 yrs of life. Hope he gets a bit fizzy in the coming years.
Why these two together???? Trivia Time---------

Thats Called Being "Bitchy & Horny"

I know i know i know, if gals are reading this where there hands are..yaa its around there hair, checking "this guy has longer hair than me".
Yaa... Thats called being "Bitchy", Bitchy in the sense that hes the only so called CHIC of our corridor & hence the guys are even more reluctant towards BITS Gals becoz after seeing Hash,u think thers competition coming up.

If you don't get any job from BITS, i have got two nice opportunities for u ppl. If you are a gal, seduce the guy & marry him. He has got loads of money & he drinks only Lime Soda & eats Chaat...If u r a guy, udaa lo saale ko... becoz ransom mein accha paisaa milegaa... nd even if u dnt get d ransom, the accessories & clothes will be worth sm 10-15k if ur luck is gud.
I Hope the guy does'nt get boils on his head becoz hes going to a desert for 6 Months.
The guy on the right is the only bengali in the corridor. Leave apart kolkota, hes not proud of bengal becoz they are revolutionists, hes proud becoz Kolkota has the largest "Red light area" in asia. Dats called Being "Paraaai" aka "Mitraaa" aka "Perrr Boyaaa". His comp is dead & is used to run all kinds of Porn.Paraiii has Data about each BITSian Babe "numbers"...Naaah.. not contact numbers.. these are other numbers.. hope u gt it...To patofy a chic, d guy once told a gal, he won some national award for creating some prototype on wireless electricity...ahhahahha...RESULT..He never got a reply again from the gal.

I Can jus say that "It can't Get better" & if something can be better "It has to be here only"...Yeah i m talking of Goa, Our beloved destination where some of us are spending wat we call as "The Best Days Of Our Lives".

For the past few Days,the weather down here has jus been awsome, regrets to all those students who left the place bcz of holi holidays...Jus pray to god dat it remains dere when u return back...

As usual, the weather has forced me to write another blog. i m on my comp tapping in words listenin to music nd at d same time thinkin abt sm1 :)

As thoughts are passing by, i just thought that how my stay on college has been something which is one hellova an experience.
Its like a journey, to be more of a voyage, where u get to see so mane things, sense a lot of stuff nd learn a lot too...
& Above all its a voyage where u will meet all kinds of people, some of them will leave an impact on u for your whole life while some of them will always bring a smile to ur face.

Its a journey full of emotions,where each one of us have laughed at each and every small joke made by a frend/mate & also when u have cried alone in ur bed after closing d door slowly after a loss.

Its a journey where u have walked on the lanes jumping & hopping in joy & at times u have been on a lonely road with your head down.

Here u have cheered at ur frend's victory & consoled him at a loss too..

Here u have seen the flowers blossom in spring while u have seen d clear skies with ferocious sun on ur head too..

U have flirted with women here, Here u have fallen in love & here only u have been hurt too..

This is the only place where everybody of us have experienced a phenomenon known as "Life"

A Life full of mixed emotions, but a life which will be memorable not only to you but also to many around you.

The best days as people quote often doesnt only come from the joyous moments shared by you and other during the process.
These are & will be the best days of our lives, becoz these will be the days we"l always look back when we"l b happy and when we"l b said.
I wanna quote something wrt this :

I can bet nobody can forget the time spent down here.
Some of us had changed from kidos to wat in sometime known as professionals.

BITSian Hackors@IOHC

I m here getting board with studies & Tests coming.So i thought lets pen down something which some of us never expected we could do.

Yeah we WON INTERNATIONAL ONLINE HACKING COMPETITION.
Telling you more about the event,its an annual event organized by Programming Club, IITK & is clubbed along with IOPC ( The programming version of it) & was sponsored by Yahoo Research & Development.

By We, i meant a team of three students from my campus i.e BITS, Pilani Goa Campus, which is an infant, since it has seen only 4 yrs & some of the walls haven't lost there first paint streaks.

Before coming to this competition, two of us, me(Ravemzsdin) & Gaurav (Nick : Fazor), participated in a hacking competition known as Binary Pirates at our college only in our techfest, It was a bit different in the sense that it was inspired by "Flag capturing" competitions which are generaly organised at hackrs conferences worldwide & involved much of cracking into systems & services rather den jus playin with codes.
After a nail biting finish dere, (hehe..We fiddled with a few things at d last moment :) but den crackrs ain't supposed to be ethical), we ended up first there.
In the break, while talking to another team we gave a thought to go for IOHC. We played it last year, and unluckily we ended up 4th i.e consolation level.
IOHC07 Was something like a normal hunt the vulneribility type where u had to play with sql injections, steganography etc etc...

Since, we needed a team of three for here. We picked up another member for the squad, a guy junior to us but in ways more trickier den us guys. Rohan Anil was the 3rd member(Nick :DarkSideHack()r ).
And Luckily the team cud be called Team GRAS ( Somethin lucky for us).

So we were all set to go for the competition which got delayed by a few hours. But den it started & we were amazed to see the change in d pattern followed dis year.
This time it wasn't the race, who"l reach d bugs fastest, it was more of HACKing den cracking.

Problem statement was that we were given a piece of source of a website(A Banking system), which was usinh php+sql & for the first round we had to make d site secure in the best way possible & den the cracking of each other sites will start.

Rohan was pro at PHP, so he started rite away & we hosted a dummy version at our webserver & i started to find vulneribilities on our syste, , u can call it penetration testing.
After some hours, when all d basic vulneribilites were covered, we also added some extra security by fiddlin with our cookies so that if smbdy conducts a XSS Attack or cookie theft attack, it wudnt be possible for him to get control of the system.
All 5 hrs , me nd rohan exchnged mane a mails with the organisers & was fun as they enjoyed replyin to the stuff. Some funny comments were exchanged too :P, since i was mailing, they had to be there.
After some tea+smoke breaks & some hard testing, we finally submitted the secured site.

It was 1:30 AM In the night, the best part i like about IOHC is that it goes on in the night & i think all the budding crackrs get enthued by dark n silence,although i have my headfones on all the time, so silence never a prob.

Then we were waiting for cracking to start and by the time, Gaurav was back too.So were all set to go & this was the part which we all wud enjoy, becoz it gvs so much happyness when u crack into something (hehe..DOUBLE Meaning). But after waiting for some hours & me wastin a couple of marlboro's, we got to know that some Fckr has tried to fiddle with the hosting servers & the competition would resume at 5 in the eve next day.
We din like it but den we were doing it for fun, So let the fun continue & We slept thinking lets DO THEM TOMMRW.

Let me tell u the rules of the contest, The team whos site will be most secure & would have least vulneribilities & would be functional as a banking system(U can't fiddle with the logic), that would win & incase of a tie, the team who has cracked into more no. of sites will win.

Next Day (5PM) :
We all again got back to our comps & we were already mailed our passwords for loggin into scoring server.
A Mail contaning the links to other teams sites were there too..
But them something happened that destroyed our mood.
The links were not working for us, We tried and tried but no result, as per the organisers it was some problem with our ISP's Cache that links were not processed.
We tried everythin we could, but still it did'nt work. After some hours, both organsrs nd us gave up on accesing the links.The competition was ON & Other teams were doing there work. we were here trying to open dem leave apart cracking into dem.

After about 4 hrs, when we had just 2 hrs left into the competition, we got a proxy created by organisers that tunneld us in.
So now we had only two hours to do the job while rest teams were already 4 hrs ahead of us.
But me & rohan thought, Lets do it for fun, Lets see wat other teams have instore for us.

& Then we started. And IT WAS LOL. A BIG LOL. that we found, there was a basic flaw in each system, i wont tell wat was dat :) But the whole competition was driven by that flaw & organisers din even know about it :)
I mailed them a list of usernames & passwords of teams & hence, it was all kind of over.
There were major flaws in some of the teams. Some of them played with the logic to the extent that sites were not functional.
Though we found some secure sites too, but den we gt into dem too...

But all the way, We helped the organisers, in disqualifyng teams & removing the major flaw which was there. & We cudnt even cmplete cracking into al systems, bcz time was too less, But i exchnged sm 30 odd mails with the organisers in the meanwhile.
It was fun to do all that..

The competition finally ended at 12:00 AM & we thought we cudnt be winning, as we got pretty less time to crack :( :( becoz of a fckin ISP.

The results were expected to be out the next day at 12 in d morning & we were expectin not even a consolation.

But then i saw the results, & Whoaa !!!! We are there on the top !!!!

I was like.. Ohhh myy godd.. WTF.. i called up gaurav dere only who had no idea wat had happened at the competition becoz of his Yahoo interview & stuff.
& The same rxn was there.. "WTF..LOL"
Then came rohan who gt to knw abt it in the evening and d same reaction.

But alls well that ends well!!! & Yeah it would end well with a prize of 400 USD For sure :)

I wont be telling, where we learned the tricks & tips of the business, becoz its smthin nobdy of us never learned, it came to us through groups,frends,google,chics(Yeah.. dey motivate Crackrs bcz u"l always want to knw dere secrets :P ) etc

All in ALL It was pur fun, nothin more !!!!

Choose the culprit : Sex Or Culture

This is the first time.. i m writing about something which doesn't deal with lively emotions or hysterical sequences based on pure fiction. This post is all about us, by us i do not mean teenagers but each and every member of the social community around us irrespective of caste,creed and most importantly sex .
So lets go down the lane and find some ground realities about what we all talk of most often i.e Sex.
I am sure on the fact that each and everybody reading this would have encountered such discussion in his lifetime but due to social ethics prevailing in some of the cultures around the globe,we at times discuss these stuff in closed rooms.

I"l say in rapidly changing environments, we have two villains. I"l talk on them one by one.
Lets Say, The first culprit is :

1)Sex :
First of all sex is not the right word about what i am actually referring to. I am instead talking of having an intercourse with a partner but in social terminology we mite refer it as "Sex" or "Love making".
By definition intercourse is a perfectly normal biological habit to reproduce. So i think by definition it is not a culprit. But we know that even in modern society of the larger part of the world we still have restrictions to use a word like "Sex" . If not a crime as per the laws, people just do not take it in the right spirit.
But then our biological system is governed not by social ethics or any civil laws. It has its own way of dealing with stuff. So as per biological standards, we all start to develop sexual needs starting from the age of 11 in males and 13 amidst females, process known as "we reaching puberty".
Suffering from hormonal changes, We all land up at a stage where we are in ultimate desire for what we commonly known as "Sex".
But here is the catch, in plain words (I m sure many of us won't like it).There are many who don't get to do it because of the social ethics surrounding them thereby suppressing what in fact is a "biological need".Here are some of the aftereffects of it :

a)How often do we see children trying to watch Porno's OR for the matter "adult channels".
b)How often do we see guys, frustrated at times because they say..."We don't get a chance to do it" whereas our counterparts in a more open environment are not suppressing the need.

Above facts are experienced by almost every human on the planet and rightly so they will always happen. So where is everything wrong. I"l tell you where they are wrong by giving some more insights.

The one trait discussed above amidst children/teenagers lead to a point where they start getting wrong information about the whole thing.The effect of the trait can be seen from this point only that when i googled "Sex" to get the definition. On the result page, i got only one correct answer and rest all adult sites which we all know cover 97% of the internet and is a billion $ industry in itself.
The point is "Humans will always satisfy there needs" but they forget in the process "Are they doing it in the right way or not". So a child will be satisfied after watching something but in the process he does not know that in the process most of the information he has gained is not completely true in many a cases and is just one more dollar added to revenue of the industry.
In a nutshell, It results into a child receiving bad information with the help of either the internet or some other way wherein he was required to be a dealt in a more proper way.

Now talking of the Second fact, Most of the teenagers in a closed community feel what i stated above i.e a feeling of frustration at times.
And since they are not "Children", they "Want even More". Resulting in even more bad consequences. From my personal experience, I have seen people of my age visiting brothels in order to have there needs satisfied, wherein everybody knows that there are serious threats of u getting affected by STDs(Sexually Transmitted Diseases) if u enter this "Dark World" of every community which also is a billion dollar industry as stated by Reuters.

Now what is the cause of it??? Is it "Sex is bad" or "Suppressing the need of doing it is???"
U can give it a thought while i"l give some insight on our second culprit i.e "Culture"

Culture :
By Culture, i mean the social ethics/standards that a people living in and around a community follow,even at times blindly.
How often do we say, "We are proud of our culture, We are a great nation". I think we all brag of it and in a way we all should be proud of it. But Since its a culture, it will have it negative shades as well.So lets have a look at them in the context we are presently discussing

1)India brags of being "Respectable to women in the society", Still we have nationwide record of rape cases and i must admit, as far as i know my country and the legal system, i can bet only a 10% of them are actually reported.
What is this for??? Is it a loophole in the system that people are not afraid of committing rapes. I"l say its more of our society that binds our activities that at times "people stop acting as humans and rather as animals, who when left alone and starved will not even regret to kill and hunt"
2)We treat "Kids as gods gift" to an extent that we suffer from outburst of population and say "God save us from It" and moreover in our society we refrain from even talking about "Intercourse/Sex" which is the process of producing "Kids" i.e God's Gift according to our society.
3) This fact is something i recently saw in a news article. According to Reuters, the average age of an indian having Sex is around 19 yrs, while in our country that brags of "Sex after marriage" is intself a myth, becoz the legal age of marriage is 18 nd 21 for females and males respectively.
A lot of that data contributes to child rapes etc etc and many such stuff.
Moreover People get beaten by the police for sitting holding hands in parks and sent to the lockup.Still we suffer from the evil, mayb because we dealing with it the wrong way.
Thers a sayin, "Harder u"l press the sponge, the harder it"l try to get out of ur hand". The same goes here.
4)We not only uproarin as a strong IT Nation but we are on the hitlist of nations sufferin from an epedemic known as "AIDS" thankx to the billion dollar industry that we can see in areas like Calcutta's red light area, which are partly thriving on teenagers just like u and me.
To make it more interesting, I Myself with million other teenagers who have not yet been told on "what is a condom" either by my teachers or my parents. All hail people who created internet that we all know "what are the consequences of not using protection"
5)Not only these, we are up on the list of nations having large number of child abuse cases reported.More and more unwanted pregnant ladies because the guy was afraid to ask for a condom from the vendor.

There are many a more facts which can be written here. But the point is What we are doing ???

Yeah.. We are doing.. Says the government who is trying to implement "Sex education" in primary schools but is able to implement in a handful of states only after about 5 years of struggle.
The problem not lies with the government but with the people. Teachers are refraining from teaching lessons. I"l say God help the country wherein educated people who should take a stand are the ones who take a step backward.

The problem won't be eradicated by "Ads on DoorDarshan" completely. It can be changed only if people start acting at root level.
Why can't we give our Kids some knowledge about the right and the wrong.
Why can't we understand that "That openess to things is not vulgarity" .For example :A bikini show is not vulgarity, deal it like fashion.

For me a person in his teenage, willing to have sex is perfectly normal, becoz his feelings are jus like a person "who has eyes, but u say u can see the world only after you are some age" . Its like supressing one of his urge forced by his/her body to do so.

With this i"l say.. we should slowly move towards "Openess" within the limits of preserving our ever blissfull culture. That way we can fight the above evils otherwise we"l go deeper and deeper into the sea strangled by our ethics only.

I Hope everybody would have thought of the culprit?? If yes, try to counter it in your life .

Stubborness

Its been ages since i felt the urge to write something again. I can feel it becoz when i tried to complete my third e-buk during the winter break, i was nt able to come up with a single word which in turn shows that my ever wobbling mind din had ideas which i could i have put on paper.

This winter went on to b d best break i ever had after i joined for my grad dwn here in goa.Spendin time with my brother has always been refreshin. Another merry break was PS1 but then u can't call it a holiday becoz of a strict ps instructor who wont allow u many bunks.

Rite now i m thinking what should i write now...Basically a few thoughts flashed across me after a vision moments ago. I wont describe wat it was as its not neccsry for the readers of d blog.
So here it goes...

I m thinking about that how stubborn we are???

Yeah.. I think in a way or the other we all are just pushin things to reach out for the ultimate satisfaction in one way or the other. That satisfaction can be nething varying from gettin good grades or being a social hype in and aroun the community livin aroun us.
We want to "WIN" everythin aroun us so badly that we start hating the slightest possibility of falling off from the cliff. We dont like it when ppl claim that "they are better then us" or if its on a higher side we all don't like it when ppl say to u "U Can't do it". I myself don't like it when ppl say to me about nething that i can't do. Its in a way ur positive approach towards achieving ur goals but i"l say its stubborness to implement it in every prospect of life.
In this busy but idle life of ours, we all in a way want to win everythin aroun us and at the cost of everything. sometimes even at the cost of money and at times at the cost of ur self respect becoz achievin something superseeds even u and wat u r.
But all along the way , we all should try to find things that are not important to achieve and still should be satisfied with the consequences.

After some years of experience of sufferin from the above mentioned , i m tryin to cope with my stubborness that there are mane a things in life which u can't convert to goals leave apart achievin dem and u always can't be a winner becoz there was no race involved in the process & yeah u can't be called a looser too fr d same reason. Its jus that u have to start living life not as a race but as a sightseeing trip where u meet different people, experience different emotions & try to get the most of ur life. By sayin "the most" its not communal profit , its enjoyment becoz that"l be d onle thing u can take along with you.

I Won't say i hv left my stubborness but i"l say its better to cushion it , so i m in d process of doin d same.

Here i m writtin my blog..
Thers no Net in the hostel rooms while i m writtin becoz of existing power cuts on campus.But the gud thing about today is that we all got to observe one of the days where weather was not just gud..It was Awsome..Thats why even without power,Net etc ..I m more than happy as compared to the normal days..Mayb aftereffct of the awsome climate down here.. :)

While writtin this,Im listening to some part of my music collection which i hvnt explored & gatherin some of my old memories and laughin all the way along thinking everythin that passed me in these two n half years of my life..

Its Really Fun..if u go back in time & enjoy some of the moments,some of which can never be relived by u except dat dey"l b dere in ur memories forever...

Ok...So lets go back in time & Enjoy a bit more....

Day1..yOOO..first day of my college life..People told me,"Study to go to college & den jus freak out there"..wid all the assumptions in my mind & a suitcase in hand,landed on goa soil..When i saw d buildin..I was like..."Dad..Mazaa Aa gaya.." But i remember one incident,when my dad called my mom after reachin campus nd told this..
"College accha hain...aur best baat hain...yeh bigdega nahin yaha..yaha ki ladkiya to bindi lagati hai aur suit pehnti hain"
If u dnt get hindi,it meant this - Son wont get into bad company becoz here are gals are simple to an extent that they wear suits nd put bindis...

Dat is a LOL incident for me...

Another incident is my secnd day in college...I went to the wrong class i.e my first class.attended it and din knew i was attending d wrong tut section untill one week when i gt a msg from my tut prof that why am i missing in phy classes..LOL...(I Was pro at bunkin then onle.. :)

Den My First bunk (Yeah of my life..I never bunked a class not even coaching class).It happened when i was sittin in our chemistry 1 class..And dese two guys,Deepak and our rock club lead singer,anish were with me..We already knew wat he was teachin..so no point sittin dere...said one of dem & den we went out from the other door while Mr. Kwoliki (Cylinder body shape) were facin the other side...

Wrt to studies in the first sem,i remember one more LOL incident.. It was thermo..I was gud at it..but as my good old theory that the things at which u r gud ,u"l never be able to convert it into numbers becoz numbers are always fictional..So it applied here too..On the compree day..i was solvin probs fr people in the corridor sittin in nitish room nd den i badly screwed up my compree exam to an extent that i din even knew how bad it went...
Durin the paper distribution ceremony..There was our dear mr. varinder singh (mech faculty) distributin nd called "2005P8PS298"..I went to take d paper.. & as soon as i tuk from him the sheet..My response was "Sir,Where are more sheets??? There got to be more?? Itney kum to ho hi nahin saktey..Sir dhoondho" And He was like "These are the only sheets i have"
I came back to the seat & i remember we laughed a lot at the incident irespective of the fact that i got my First D Grade there only...
& Yeah..Durin the course..I was once called by Mr Sachin W,Our thermo tutor & he shrugged me like hell..I was never treated like that ever before.. :)

Speaking of corridor frends..Thers one more incident..i"l say not an incident but a journey that none of us would ever forget..It was our first journey back home durin first diwali @BITS... We all were like so happy to go back home..But then it was not jus who were happy there were a whole lot of ppl who were happy to go home durin that time..Yeah..It was the crowd in the train at that time..
We were sleepin in the nite & jus before pune,A whole lot of ppl got into the train at aroun 3-4 in the mornin..We were sleepin & ignored the rush..But in the mornin when we woke up...Whoaaa..It was like 100 odd ppl extra in each compartment & there were many sardars in our compartment..So we were like "Abey inhey kya hua?? sab kaha chaley?? "
But the maj`or funny part was our journey wid a dehaati family who tuk seat with us..That was nd will be an ultimate exp..There was one lady,one small baby & 3 men..The baby was cryin always,women was sleepin & men were always chewin tobacco nd playin cards 24*7 as if they enetred a casino...LOL...
So as they were obsessed they were playin cards at even 2 in d nite next day & then the ultimate thing happened..Since the baby was not sleepin..The lady gave it to the husband to take care who was busy playin cards sittin at the top seat..And down under was me n Chimp(Navneet)..As me n chimp were talkin...First, a Card came down..We handed it back..Den there tobacco thingy came down & last but the funniest..That small baby came down nd hit me n chimp on the head almost from the top berth like a pebble..We were like "Abey kya C***** hain?? hahhaha.."
And yeah..Durin the journey Punit Got stuck in the wrong compartment stuffed between two bad odour sardaarjis..jus becoz he was tryin to get back to a seat where a chic from GMC,Goa was sittin..Poor Punit...LOL...
& Yeah..Me nd rajesh,who was jus sittin a few seats away came across a definite Gay who boarded from pune nd was tryin to seduce some of the people in his surroundings..Naah..we were jus viewin it..lol..
& Yeah..a girl nd her bf too..who were tryin to make out at the top berth while we were tryin to get a view...lol..

After that i remember,How i gt in touch wid sumby bhai nd aalap bhai..It was BnB ,comp club notice that was put up.. And as usual since computers were the only thing of my intrest outside my hostel premises...i went to it with not much of tech exp as other guys had but wat i had was jus ideas on the paper which i thought of after seeing the existing website.
i Remember Nitish My frend went with me for the interview..And he went first..i was sittin n seeing wat dey"l ask..They asked him somethin on hardware as he said he has sm knwledge in it... While i had nothin ..So i thought...i m a definite No No.. But then dey called me..I went n jus threwed the ideas..LOL.. the Bosses got intrested..Sumby gave his cell number n room numbr... I came Back LOLing as i never expected i"l make it..

Then i remember one more LOL incident, I was somewhere appointed Head Ej(e-journalist) as i was always chatterin nd never closed my mouth..So there was this guy..Whos now a gud frend of mine Vishrut who needed people to gv him some writeups to put on the site,So he and me called for the meetin of all the Ejs(LOL...Jus half of dem turned up) That made him a bit more angry..There were couple of gals amidst the team..So he n me came n started blabberin over the group of ppl..That this is d deadline etc etc nd we are professional ppl..We wont take lousy wrk..After all this happened...I was jus standin nd saw one girl whisperin to sm other girl... She was sayin "Yeh senior log hain kya??? "
I heard it & started laughin ..Lol..Akash bhai standin near joined me 7 den we both kinda bullied the girl who was no other than LITA...hahahha..Another gud frend of mine...

Then i hv sm nice memories of we ppl makin fun in d CSD room...Workin too...All were happy with the room..It was our playfield..There was the place where we could expeiment with stuff..come up with new ideas..I think those days taught us "How to innovate" & one more important thing that "How to make the best use of even the least resources"..I said this becoz we had some limited no. of comps and still nobdy complained..we ppl gv place to each other to do wrk..Basically we all enjoyed being part of a TEAM..A Team that"l work professionaly but in a friendly environment where everybody's work will compliment others work..So there was No RACE TO BE THE BEST...

In the second sem,I remember one more funny stuff.. Me and angad were learnin Crackin(Though we always used to name it hacking sayin that we r d grey hats).There was two areas where we cud hunt.. First one was Library wifi & second was the GIRLS sittin in there common room hostel usin d library wifi..
It was Angad's lappy we used at that time..And to be true..We found some of the funnies chats..i ever saw in my life.. Eg : a girl in d college sayin " i love u to his bf in mumbai" nd den on the other side "flirtin wid another coll boy " at the same time
If u dnt get wat we were doin..We were performin packet sniffing on them... :)

Ohhh.. another moment jus came flashin in my mind...
It was Wrt me and girls in the first nd started of second sem..In all my fetishness for comps..I kinda never observed ne of em.. For Me at dat time...It was jus dat AC CSD room where we kinda enjoyyed a lot nd never cared about the world... But as i never miss a chance on happenings around me...i got to know that there are some gud girls...I got this info from another of my friend,Punit ( He is not there today amidst us but i can bet his liveliness exists amidst us till date & his work nd enthusiasm will always be noticed @ campus).As Punit was always enthued, he told us quite a few names nd used to come with rankings..A Daily digest for all of us in d corridor..
So one day..i thought... "Dude.. I m in college...Time to check out..Jus for a few secs put aside the fetishness for comps nd think is dere nething else??? "
Ohkkk..I thought and went nd started sittin in d CC (Hangout zone for chics)..Lol..Though i got sersly bored nd as dere was no AC Dere..i was about to give up..But Then LOL Happened..

Something funny that i will never forget is my first bday@BITS... It was jus one month since we came to coll.. But all of d corridor ppl kinda so frendly dat we kinda prepared fr each others bday... All in all...It was Punit,Who always tuk the pain to even decorate the room for some of us & act like there was nothing going to happen nd as if they had forgettn dat it was somebdys bday...
I remember..on my bday.. Gogo's ( Vivek) room was decorated nd i sersly thought that lagta hain sab bhool gaye... but then i was sittin in Nbabu's (Nitish) room & suddenly Punit & Arpat came nd punit was so excited that he fell from the stairs.. nd hurted himself..but den d next moment..he was up..nd den th bday celebration started... I never remembered somebdy ever clebrated my bday by decoratin somethin...mayb when i was 2-3 yrs..but nt after that..so technically speakin..i was happy like nething.. nd den dere was the best bday dance session wid rajesh nd us guys doin bihari + nangin + bhangra + nething u can think of dance on any song u could ever think of nd soft drink splashin all over the floor....Man..Those were the days..These days..Wid everybdy playin CS,Dota,some of us busy wid projects..Kinda do not celebrate a bday wid such enthusiasm...

All In All....
These are jus a few of the memories that make me laugh today and will always whenever i"l lukbck at dem...There are mane more like these..I"l keep writtin them as then i can hv fun readin dem smwhere down the line of this race called LIFE.

Till Then..Try to find ur moments of joy in ur past.. And i can definitely say.. U"l forget the existing pain or tension or watever the existing conditions are giving to u..

I am having dis strong feeling today..Nd i m happy..Dats y i"l put dis random thought out here on my Blog...
As all d natives of a country Love Deir Country..I m no different...I still remember when i was in class 6th When i first developed d passion to serve my country after readin a story in the newspaper about sm of d ArmyMen who gv deir lives jus to save ppl like us..Who cn sit on deir comps nd use shitty US technoligies nd blog about dem too...

I gave it a serious thought..Nd when it was time..i tried to convert my passion into smthing..Yeah..I gave d entrance exam For Armed Forces..NDA & NA(II) 2005..I was in class 11th den..I jus filled up the form without tellin nebdy except my Maama,who always helps me out when d shots are down...Nd Den by bunking my coaching classes went to Lucknow For d entrance Test at my bro's Medical coll hostel...
I din expect dat so many ppl will be hvn d same zeal fr d nation..Nd at d exam centre dere were 100s of guys like me dere to gv d examination...

Finally after aroun 4 mnths..when i was fully into JEE(i hate JEE..i regret preparing fr it)..I gt a letter frm Indian Military Academy for a physical Test/interview From Bangalore Centre...
Yeah..It was bangalore..D dream station from which half of d guys called convert from being a normal civilian to wat dey say an "Armed officer"...
Bt till den very few of us knew dat i m going fr it..So a Bombshell was throwed dat u ain't Going to NDA...Bcz my grandmother said "Goli(Bullet) waali jageh nahin bhejnaa" Nd My dream of being an army guy was sent to /dev/null...

I still have dat letter..(Its quite a big letter with all d instructions dat u hv to follow during d 3 day test)..Nd whenever i visit home..i see dat letter fr once/twice....Dis was 2.5 yrs bck...

Things have changed nw....Now i stand as half n engineer doing my Grads at one of d gud universities of my nation....
To be true..Engineering is a race..Race to produce new technoligies..Start new ventures..All in all race to earn money..Dose of u think dat scientists produce technoligies to help People..Nd dats y dey always luk frward to cutting edge technoligies...
I"l say..Ppl produce technoligies to get patents nd den earn revenues..Nobdy cares whether a blind man wud be able to use deir product..Its too costly fr him...dey dnt ask questions like ,fr whom r dey creatin technology??...a rich blind man or a guy who will nt evn gt a job bcz hes Blind..

We all in dis arena of producing technoligies r here to earn bIG BUcks or dey cn call dis as USD $...

But still dere r ppl who make use of technologies or deir skills in order to serve d country or in a larger context d globe...
Yeah dere r millions of hackers..(Yeah dere r nt as army men on d borders as dese guys who jus sit behind deir comps to save country's economy frm threats)
Dere r aroun 50000 cases per year..when hackers frm our country nd our beloved neighbour nation play it out to protect mane IT firms frm being cracked dwn to hell..Nd dat too jus fr no money..dese guys dnt wrk fr ne IT firm in d nation..Still dey try deir best to preserve nation's pride..

Wat u knw as Bhagat Singh Can be Ricky007 in modern context...logged onto d darkside of d internet...trying to stop ppl frm biatching wd his country...

Dis is one case....I dnt like d concept of companies like infosys,wipro..JUs bcz dey r tapping d Indin Bran to serve dumb ass US Citizens..Who jus fck deir wife..nd den call bloody indians to recve a call frm dem asking "My microwave ain't wrkin...Cud u read out d manual nd help me out wid it...Im a US Citizen..nd i m 40 times stronger den wat u r??"

Other den dis..Consider if a company like infosys..whos earning big bucks cud help increase computer literacy in india....How mane of us have even basic knwledge of wat dis dumb thing invented by charles babbage do??...Onle 1% or even les den dat of our population...Still we r n emerging IT Nation..Jus bcz we hv wat is a bliss in disguise..Yeah d population factor..nd Grt Basics of mathmatics...Our 12th class kido knws how to integrate sm of d toughest integrals using jus pen n paper...thought he mite nt be knwin dat US Guys r usin a software fr it..Still hes fast at it....

How fun it wud be if by 2025....Our computer literacy levels upto i say 10%...Whoaa....i cn bet our class 10th guys cn code fr US Guys nd earn money..Nd put d profsnl guys to R&D..DAT WAY WE EARN D BIG BUCKS....as well as we create our stuff...

Its pissing..when u open adobe photoshop..nd when d app is loading..u see d names of d developers on ur screen...mane r indians in it..nd den d final line cms..."Software is patented under US Laws"...
Y dnt we create our stuff...tag dem,patent dem..nd den wait....i cn bet dese guys hv to cm dwn to buy it...Rite nw wat dey want is Brain Power nd we want d money...Bt y onle money we want??

10000s of enginners go to US each n every year....nd fr d initial yrs wat dey get is a small apartmnt...a handful of USD...nd ppl doubting whether or nt d guy has a bomb in his packet..Jus bcz he din gt time to shave dat day...

Y dnt we stay in bangalore,mumbai,hyderabad etc...Cant we eat samosa...do we hv to always eat Mcdonald's French fries??....

When will we come out of dis...
Actually we cant..i m bloggin rite nw..but mayb i"l accept d offer too if i made ne to wrk fr ne US company..Jus bcz my parents want me to live a life better den wat dey lived.....

SoonR Talk brings VOIP to your iPhone

Apple and Cisco had announced that they would share the name "iPhone," Apple using it for its new smartphone, and Cisco using the name for their Linksys-branded VOIP phone for home networks thus resolving the "iPhone" trademark dispute. Apple might not be able to restrict use of iPhone for VOIP calls as Soonr Talk is offerring a solution for those interested in making VOIP calls from their iPhone. I wonder how Cisco will be react to this development.

Soonr Talk provides you a way to use Skype and make VOIP calls from your iPhone. Before you get excited let me warn you that the process involved in making a VOIP call is quite cumbersome.

This is how it works based on information available on their website*:

Install SoonR Talk client on your PC which has the latest version of Skype insalled
Log into AJAX-enabled SoonR website on your iPhone (I suppose with your skype account)
You should be able to view your Skype buddies
Click on the buddy you want to talk to.
SoonR Talk will tell your PC to call your mobile phone using your SkypeOut credit.
Then SoonR Talk will instruct Skype to call your buddy, placing you in a conference

Requirements to get this working:

Make sure you're running the latest version of Skype on your PC
SoonR client running on your PC

All of this will be using the Safari browser on your iPhone, so there is no worry of how to revert back in case you do not like this long process of making VOIP calls.

SoonR also offers other cool applications like SoonR Desktop & SoonR Organizer, however not sure if they will work with the iPhone, but these two applications along with SoonR Talk will be cool applications to have on your iPhone as mostly the critical information that people depend on are still stored on personal computers and their hard disks.

When started, kudzu detects the current hardware, and checks it against a database stored in /etc/sysconfig/hwconf, if one exists. Google TiSP (short for Toilet Internet Service Provider) was a fictitious free broadband service supposedly released by Google. This service would make use of a standard toilet and sewage lines to provide free Internet connectivity at a speed of 8 Mbit/s (2 Mbit/s Upload) (or up to 32 Mbit/s with a paid plan). A user drops a weighted end of a long, Google-supplied fiber-optic cable in their toilet and flushes it. Around 60 minutes later, the end would be recovered and connected to the Internet by a "Plumbing Hardware Dispatcher (PHD)." The user then connects their end to a Google-supplied wireless router and run the Google-supplied installation media on a Windows XP or Vista computer ("Mac and Linux support coming soon"). Alternatively, a user could request a professional installation, where Google would deploy nanobots through the plumbing to complete the process. The free service would be supported by "discreet DNA sequencing" of "personal bodily output" to display online ads that relate to culinary preferences and personal health. Google also references the Diet Coke and Mentos reaction in their FAQ, "If you're still experiencing problems, drop eight mints into the bowl and add a two-liter bottle of diet soda.

Microsoft is looking to deliver its follow-up to Vista by the end of 2009, according to the executive in charge of building the product's core components.That would be a much faster turn-around than Vista, which shipped more than five years after Windows XP, but Vista was exceptional, said Ben Fathi, corporate vice president of development with Microsoft's Windows Core Operating System Division.

Microsoft originally planned for its XP follow-up to include a number of radical changes to Windows, including a new file system and a reinvented user interface, but after the company's products were hit by widespread worm outbreaks in 2003, Microsoft redirected almost its entire engineering effort to locking down Windows with the XP Service Pack 2 release.

"We put Longhorn on the back burner for awhile," Fathi said. "Then when we came back to it, we realised that there were incremental things that we wanted to do, and significant improvements that we wanted to make in Vista that we couldn't deliver in one release."

Vista shipped about two-and-a-half years after XP SP 2, and Vista's follow-up is expected to take about the same amount of time, according to Fathi. "You can think roughly two, two-and-a-half years is a reasonable time frame that our partners can depend on and can work with," he said. "That's a good time frame for refresh."

Last year, Microsoft said that the code name for this Vista follow-up was Vienna, but Fathi said he could not disclose the current name. "We've been told not to use it publicly," he said.

The Observer reports that Google is in talks with Orange "about a multi-billion-dollar partnership to create a 'Google phone' which makes it easy to search the web wherever you are".

A Google-branded phone could include a browser that uses Google's transcoder to optimize web pages for the phone, easy to access Google search, maps, Gmail, Blogger and maybe more.

"The device would not be revolutionary: manufactured by HTC, a Taiwanese firm specializing in smart phones and Personal Data Assistants (PDAs), it might have a screen similar to a video iPod."

Last month, Eric Schmidt said: "Your mobile phone should be free. It just makes sense that subsidies should increase"

Venture capitalist Simeon Simeonov has made a post on his VC blog High Contrast that he claims to be an insider tip on the hotly anticipated, yet still speculative, Google Phone. According to Simeonov, Google has charged Andy Rubin with the task of creating the G-Phone.

Rubin, the founder of Sidekick maker Danger, arrived at Google when the search giant acquired Android, his wireless software startup. Under Rubin works a team of about 100 people reportedly slaving away on the device. Simeonov believes that Rubin is working directly on the OS of the device.

He goes on to cite Google’s acquisitions of Reqwireless and Skia as definite indications that it is working on creating its own handset. Reqwireless creates mobile applications and, before getting bought, Skia had developed a vector-based presentation engine capable of rendering “state-of-the-art” 2D graphics on mobile phones.

Semeonov sees these acquisitions as evidence of G-Phone rumblings at the Google lab. He also claims that, in contrast to the Google Orange HTC phone rumors, the new device is being developed in conjunction with Samsung (citing this press release) and the Switch codename is once again being bandied about.

The new device is said to be similar to a similar to a Blackberry in design. It will be coded on a C++ core with an OS bootstrap. Like the Sidekicks, Java will be optimized to run on the device. And it will include a multitude of services like G-Talk and such.

He does present a rather compelling case and truly seems to have considered many intricate details surrounding the G-Phone. So is it valid?

I’m going to go out on a generously solid limb here and agree with Mr. Simeonov. It’s not a stretch to believe that Google would indeed be working on such a device. Distributing content, like targeted ads, wirelessly would be a hell of a lot cheaper than than pushing it through pipes. Plus it’s hardly controversial these days to claim that wireless is the future.

The world is going untethered as quickly as technology permits. It should come as no surprise that the Internet’s largest and fastest growing company would be continuously looking for ways to proliferate.

* Google Media Player could play contextual music: let's say you read a novel by Gabriel Garcia Marquez on your computer. Feed Google Media Player a fragment from the novel and let it find the most appropriate songs from your computer or from online streams.

* Google Media Player would show the latest news from the artist that plays the current song, images from Google Images or what other people think about this song.

Multipoint enables groups of students to use multiple mice on a single PC, giving students a new way to learn together and have more computer time than ever before. For the price of just a few mice, schools will soon be able to dramatically increase the reach of their existing PCs and extend the education experience. Now that’s global impact

The technology helps shift the student from passive to active learning, creating a collaborative environment for students to interact with.

According to Microsoft, in a classroom of 40 children with only four PCs among them, 10 students crowd around each machine, while one student takes center position and controls the mouse. Other students point, gesture and vie for control of the mouse, but they ultimately have no direct control of the PC and often lose interest and shift their attention elsewhere.

The company says that boosting the PC-to-student ratio by buying more PCs as not a viable solution too many schools in developing countries, and even with more machines, traditional PC set-ups do not allow for collaborative learning and teamwork.

Windows MultiPoint tries to solve this problem, by helping students to use PCs to learn together versus having an isolated computer experience where they’re each on their own PC. In addition, MultiPoint offers an affordable way to decrease student-to-PC ratios, and provides a platform for Windows education software developers to create collaborative learning applications.

Microsoft plans to make an alpha version of MultiPoint software development kit (SDK) available for download in January 2007, and the company has committed to delivering monthly builds until release to manufacturing (RTM) in May, Bealkowski says. In addition, Microsoft is encouraging this year’s Imagine Cup student coders to use Multipoint technology in related category challenges.

The Windows MultiPoint technology works with Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Vista.

Second, it is a cost effective mechanism for expanding the reach of computing hardware. Cheap input devices allow many children to interact simultaneously with a computer, greatly reducing the cost per student. The reality in the developing world is that the number of computers available for education is severely limited, so this simple and elegant mechanism makes it possible for many more students to access computers in a pedagogically sound manner.”

On the Horizon for MultiPoint:

MultiPoint is just one of a number of efforts driven by Microsoft to create economic, social and educational opportunities for people around the world. The innovation came from the world-class labs of Microsoft Research, and the company believes that technology such as MultiPoint can have a positive impact on people in emerging markets. In addition to the Imagine Cup competition, Microsoft plans a pilot program with the support of the Thai Ministry of Education at schools in Thailand using MultiPoint beginning in 2007.

MultiPoint is already exciting education professionals such as Carlton Samuels, chief information officer and professor at the University of the West Indies, who recently attended a MultiPoint demonstration. Instructional technology tools that invite collaboration and foster peer learning would integrate seamlessly into the classroom settings of Jamaican K-12 schools, Samuels says, but the associated cost has always hindered widespread adoption.

“This MultiPoint technology manages to address these issues at one go,” he says. “It enables collaboration and active learning at a price even a relatively poor Jamaican school could afford. It is such a simple idea, but so very effective in addressing our needs.”

GoogleOS: What To Expect

There's no such thing as the GoogleOS in reality - but despite that, it is one of the most talked about Web products. People can't stop discussing it - and even imagining screenshots for it! Seems like everyone expects Google to get into direct competition with Microsoft, by releasing an operating system. However Google refuses such claims and even makes fun of this kind of buzz. Nevertheless we decided to analyze where Google may be heading with their product strategy - and from that determine what are the chances of a GoogleOS.

Possibilities

We see 3 scenarios for a GoogleOS:

A web based desktop (i.e. operating system)
A full featured Linux distribution
A lightweight Linux distro and/or BIOS

We'll try to explain each of these in detail - then in the conclusion, make our prediction. What's more, we think this could be less than 6 months away from happening.

A Web Based Operating System

If you asked "what will a GoogleOS look like?" - most people would answer that it'll be an AJAX-powered copy of the Windows desktop. In other words, a WebOS (aka webtop). To remind you of what a WebOS is, it is basically a virtual desktop on the web and has various built-in applications. Google already has a history of producing web-based products that mimic desktop apps - Gmail was the first desktop client like email reader, and now they have Google Docs & Spreadsheets, Google Calendar and other desktop-like products. Also note that Google's internal open sourced widget toolset, GWT, allows them to replicate any desktop capability.

On the other hand, a bunch of startups like YouOS , Goowy, DesktopTwo, Xin and open source eyeOS are already tackling this exact problem - and have been for a while now. So if Google engineers are not already working on their own webOS project, they may want to snap up one of these! AJAX powered YouOS, which is a yet another Paul Graham investment, seems like the most obvious choice at this time.

Besides the startups we've already mentioned, there may be other surprises that Google looks at for WebOS purposes. Meebo, for instance, has created a very large user base with their web-based meta instant messaging product (it enables you to use multiple IM services on the same webpage). IM is a crucial application, because many people spend a lot of time on the computer IM'ing. So Meebo could use IM as a base - and utilize the empty spaces on their page for new applications.

30 Boxes also has a webtop offering, but it looks less promising than their calendar. Start pages like NetVibes, PageFlakes and WebWag could also potentially enter the webos business.

A Full Featured Linux Distro

Another possibility for Google is to create their own Linux-based operating system. The free license of Linux allows anyone to create their own version of Linux. Although Linux is the most popular operating system in the server market and it's free, it is still far behind Windows and MacOS in the desktop market. Some believe this may change with the latest enhancements to the Linux user interface.

This scenario is a more traditional model to replace Windows - with a direct competitor, instead of creating a web-based replacement. Indeed this has already been widely speculated - Ubuntu, a semi-free Linux derivative, was rumored to be acquired by Google.

If this scenario happened, Google may open up their operating system as a free download and promote it on their homepage - as they once did with Firefox. They could also make a networked file system the default, instead of the complex UNIX file hierarchy of Linux - which is another reason why Linux struggles in the mainstream desktop market.

A Lightweight Linux Distro or BIOS

A lightweight Linux distro is a possibility. For example an OS that simply booted up the computer, connected to the internet, and then opened Firefox. Then leave the rest to Google's web sites and apps. This is possibly the most logical strategy, because Google could then create a homepage that connects all their services and applications - and people will have the freedom to use other web sites and services as well.

Similar concepts already exist. For instance, Puppy and Damn Small are 2 credit card sized Linux distros. The good thing about these is that you can carry them everywhere you go - putting the credit card sized CD or the USB drive into your pocket and using your own operating system anywhere you go. Why? Because these distributions don't need to be installed and can work directly from the CD or the USB drive.

ByzantineOS
, a dead project now, was doing exactly this. Its sole purpose was to boot up and open a Mozilla based window manager - but then you could not get out of your browser window!

However, Google may be considering an even more radical solution and planning to replace BIOS with their own version. BIOS means 'basic input/output system' and it is the built-in software that determines what a computer can do - for example it controls the keyboard and display screen. It goes pretty well fr d underwrld..but yesterday nite i recievd a comment which made me think abt it fr smthin else in my life..

Yeah..Lets go bck a few mnths or n year bck...
It was one evening when Me,Gp And Co(Ravem,Gparuthi & Coblaze) Started a menace or a boon known as "Titan" A server supported by Direct Connect Protocol...
We never thought it"l be a big hit..But It bcm one hell of a popular thing inside d campus....
Nd den things bcm a bit sore..Nd started to go out of d limits...

We three were admins at dat time..So we tried our best to control watever dat happened on smthing which i always hated..Yes..It was d main chat..It was advantageous bt at times it much more of a pain in d ass fr guys who hv d power to kick ppl out...

Soon to control ppl abusing..We had to kick em out..nd It was nt fun....Bcz d person gettin kicked out of d server was nt a simple guy...
He"l cm bck wid sm or the other nick..nd den he"l abuse more n more ppl...Nd yeah we always recived d "BEST" of d abuses...

Some of em made me think..dat y d F*** m i running dis thing on my comp...Ppl jus cmn n abusing me....nd i like a lame person cn jus cntinue typoe dis command--->> ?kick

After a few months nd a list of incidents...I"l list sm of d incidents dwn here...
1)Ppl talking of a gal on campus fr sm hrs on d main chat..Nd it was leadin nowhere..We had to put d Mc OFF....Result..dat when i put it bck...i recievd a lot of abuses... :) Nd i cn jus say Thanku....

2)Ppl started talking rubbish abt a girls cleavage(I m nt gonna hide d truth.If dis hapened.I"l state it)...I was dere.....Hv to put d MC off.Again a series of abuses in d PM frm ppl at 2 in d nite..

3)These r a bundle of incidents...
(a) Ppl jus abusing each other fr fun..
(b) Ppl jus spamming n abusing..nd iritating each other..
(c) Catching one identity on campus..nd den ripping everythin abt him....

All these r jus a few of em which i remember..Actually dere r mane like dese bt it made me hard...I made a chnge in myself...

Finally..I m bck on my blogger to write smthing...Yeah.Since d climate is gud here in pilani..nd my PS1 report has started on time..i finally gt smthing to smile on...

So lets go ahead wid it...Dis is d first time..i m writtin smthin...i hv no idea of....dats life...which i hv no idea abt...

For d past few days..Nt onle d heat content in d air is rising..bt d smoke in my lungs are increasing too...Yeah..i m gettin addicted to this thing which i always dreaded off...Smoke..Yeah..I used to thought dat dis is d onle thing i"l never do in my life..bt tdy i m smhw into it...So i"l say u never knw wat u dread off is smday u"l get into...

Dis article of mine..came into my mind dis morning..When i woke up in d morning....As all mornings..dis was d same too...one more day..i hv to live doing d same old shit dat i m used to be doing fr d past few years...Nd yeah..One more day of depresing thoughts of where lifes leadin me???

Was thinking all dis..dat my eye gt on d smokes kept nearby....Nd yeah It was dere..i cud see life in dem....It was dere....
I tuk one smoke out..nd widout d fear of d chowki..lit it....Nd put my headfones on...Music is one more addiction dat ive been suffering frm..It is one of d three addictions dat i cnt seperate frm myself...(Smokes r nt one of dese three....)

A GUIDE TO ETHICAL “HACKS’-HOT ANDHRA CHICKS

PREFACE:

This is a story of a first yearite at BITS,Pilani-Goa Campus and about the horrors he faced in the campus during his first semester @ the institute……..

Guyz and galz be patient I m not taking about the mess(which in itself is a complete mess) nor I m talking about some academic and authorities stuff, its something different then that which I hope u must also have experienced in the campus…So be cool and chill….

And I’ll also like to add that this article is completely unofficial and it does not promote regionalism because we at BITS stand united and will continue that forever and neither it tends to divide people on basis of colour.

So u can go ahead and have a crunch of what I just wrote one night…….

eally speaking I was a bit happy when I got the call from BITS, Pilani to join the Goa Campus but as I was at the age of seventeen and as other studious guyz thought that it would be great to join the institution but was unknown of the facts which were still to be revealed about the campus, which u as a reader will definitely know about after reading this article of mine. Since I m a student and had a minimum score in ENGLISH in BITSAT u can’t expect the best of the literature from me, so guyz and galz be patient at all the mistakes because I m sure u would be knowing the pain it takes to do something different @BITS.

tlast I reached the campus and it ended my journey which was a pretty long one, actually before that I have never ever in my life encountered a journey of more then 200 kms in my life but this time as time was changing for me and destiny had something else ensured for me, it was a journey 10 times than that. At the first glance, all the people stared at the campus as if it was a wonder on earth and parents chattering that their wards have a good destiny that they will spend the four most important years of their life here, but everybody, mainly the students were unaware of something special in store for them. Then after the hostels getting allotted and the rest of official stuff, which is an integral part of BITS, the authorities here do a very little work but when they do they it in a official manner.

ery hungry”, I said to my dad after putting the luggage in my room which was nothing less then a hotel room as compared to the rooms people get at IIT”S and our FATHER Campus-‘BITS, Pilani’. To add more luxury they even provided us with no room partner, this was because may be in the future we have to face many problems in the campus therefore they provided us with some sort of mental peace which we can achieve after a hectic schedule at BITS, which in future would turn out for the students “BITS-Birla Institute Of Test Series’.

Father said “Ok Lets go and check out the Breakfast”, and den we entered the den of Aatish or the mess of BPGC.

Aatish is one man in BPGC I think who has more power then our DIRECTOR, because the campus authorities can’t find a better mess contractor in the entire span of two years. I won’t speak of his food because I know that it is not being liked by anyone in the institute. As soon as I entered the mess, the surprise was now over because then I saw the most unreal species present on earth today. Ya they were the most infamous and unpopular among BITSians “THE HACKS - HOT ANDHRA CHICKS”

Since I was only seventeen at that age and the visions of those species were meant only for people above 18,I was a bit stuck at that moment,but regaining my balance I finally landed on a table with some south Indian dish in my plate.It was the first time I was eating south Indian in breakfast,I believe all the north indies wud hv felt like me at that moment,To add more salt to the wounds my father said”Son,now I think u are in a good place,see the girls here they are so simple with no fashion at all, unlike other colleges”

And I was thinking yuck where am I,the best thing which a guy thinks about a college is the galz nd here I am ,where it was even difficult at times to guess who among those galz were really galz And yes the one thing that dad said was good for me ,that these galz didn’t do fashion and make up at all because if they wud have done that it wud be even more horrifying for us to handle that.

Then while I was eating under amazement or horror or a mixture of both,I tried to get a better view of these amazing species which can only be found in BITS nd not any other local college of India.

xclusive as these galz,(sorry to all those people who still believe that some members of the hack community can”t be given the title of girls,bcoz they are really different from the actual galz on earth even when tried to view from at every angle possible in mathematical geometry) are the dresses they wore are also exclusive ,which I used to see in the wardrobe of my grandma during my childhood. If I am rite they all wore some silk clothes with the heaviest of the jari work on it, which in most parts of world have become extinct like the dinosaurs on earth. Thanks to a friend of mine I came to know that dese clothings are pretty heavy in terms of weight, But it was not a problem for these species because I hope that they might be even using these clothings to shape their muscles.

And then something happened which I can’t forget in my life. At a table next to me there was a guy sitting with his mom and eating and seeing the lunch as if he had seen it for the first time probably he was also terrified with the streaming horror in front of his eyes.

To make matters worse, some female occupied a place in front of him, she was wearing some heavy Indian dress and was at first glance a complete horror like “a pic from evil dead, a pretty horrifying movie” As to introduce themselves the boy’s mom asked “madam where is your ward” meaning “where is the student?”. You can’t believe what the reply was because at that time even I didn’t. She replied” I m the only ward here” meaning “she is the student here”. That reply uprooted me from my seat and my memory from my mind for a second. That was more then enough for a seventeen year old therefore I decided to get back to my room and relax after a terrifying breakfast.

an O” Man, it was my first day at the college attending classes and what more my first class was a WORKSHOP practical which in itself is a torture for the students not because of the hard work they have to do in practical but because of some stupid instructors or lab assistants there, which at any doubt of yours make the same face as if u have asked the question”sir,how many stars are there in the universe”, they are equally amazed at every doubt as if we would b amazed if some aliens visit our planet and the other reason was that students in these workshop practical receive these “HACKS” as their partners which is a big deal to handle, therefore Its my advice to all the readers, that pray to god before your partners getting chose in those practical

Returning back to my first class, I was a bit lucky not to get that partner but the destiny of a friend of mine received a fatal blow when he got a “HACK XP VERSION” as his partner, we gave her that name as WIN XP was exclusive and a masterpiece as this gal (sorry again) was also exclusive among those species.

To tell u people, I in my life had never seen such a body, I mean such a black body. I wonder what were our profs telling us that “lump black” is the blackest body on earth, I m sure the physicists that established that fact were dead by the time she was born on earth, otherwise that “lump black’ would have been out shown by her beauty.

So readers, now I’ll tell u how come the idea of writing this article struck me. Actually u all must be thinking that this guy had written these things just for fun but contrary to that actually this article has been written by me as a social welfare, which u will know shortly.

zzzzzz,Hmmmm.oh Sorry for that,. its well past midnite while I m writing this article.Returning to the social welfare part, all the readers(all those who study in BITS And also who live on this planet), are unaware of the serious threat these species of BITS pose to the human existence on this planet.

These species in general with a few exceptions (which are generally due to some genotype malfunctioning) are black as “earth wud be on dooms day”or hell.So guyz as PHYSICS is the subject which I like the most, I with the help of some of my frendz conducted some experiments which showed results that are potentialy hazardous for the whole earth.The results reflected that due to the extensive black colour of these species, BITS,PILANI GOA CAMPUS had a considerable increase in accelearation due to gravity values and when we got into more details,the results showed that if such things goes on, BITS GOA can act as as a small black hole in the “MILKY WAY OR AAKASH GANGA” and due to high values of gravity here all the small comets wud start crashing into earth and which cud result in the end of humans on this planet.

The above theory mite also be helpful to all the geologists who are in search of the answer that how and why the dinosaurs become extinct suddenly,bcoz I think that some of these species found in BITS have faces and structures of small dinosaurs which ultimately shows that these species wud have been there at the time of dinosaurs and due to some genetic inheritance they r still somewat similar to dinosaurs.So guyz all those people who do not study in BITS beaware of these species.

o what r u people thinking this is the only threat that these species pose to u,then u are wrong again bcause these are much dangerous den wat u can ever wonder of????.Have u ever heard of “GLOBAL WARMING” I hope we all are qualified enough to know about it, but in coming future courtesy to these “HACKS”,the students will study of another warming in their junior high school sessions which will be known as the “HACK WARMING”

Owing to their colour dese species absorb a great amount of radiational energy incident on them during the day when the sun is overhead and during the night all dese black beauties radiate this energy into the atmosphere thereby increasing the temperature of the surroundings.Have u ever seen wats the temperature in nights inside the campus premises????,if u have not then plz check out and then u will come to know why there is a slight difference in the maximum and the minimum temperature here……….,and for all the upcoming geologists in the campus,the author of this article has already sent this theory of his to The INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON GEOLOGY which is to be held in MEXICO dis year,hoping that those people there find a solution to it.

I hopethat due to this hack warming affect we have been provided with A.C classrooms and LT”S,who knows the profs have discovered this earlier than us.Now these species are helping the campus in a very fruitful way…….,wanna know about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey have u people ever seen the shopping complex grossery shop”s section where all the after shave lotions nd stuffs are kept,u all must be amazed as I was becoz in that section it is difficult to find a “Razor” for urself and whenever u ask the vendor why are these all out of stock,he has no answer to it perhaps he”s a bit confused too.

Now the reason is that these species use the razors like an ordinary guy does ,that’s why u can see them with mustaches and at times a slim beared across their faces which cud make any guy jealous that “how isthat gal having a beared more prominent then him”.It at times makes the guys a bit disheartened but for all those guyz I have a good news becoz these gals by using those razors are providing us with a new PS station here in goa itself.Many razor making companies are ready to make razors for such species by conducting tests nd stuffs on them and in turn these companies are providing the campus with a new PS station and even a research station.So guys pleez bare with these species they can be helpful to u in some wayz……..

These species can also be helpful for the field of medicine and ENT doctors…….

There is a frend of mine who suffered from “night blindness”,I hope u all wud be familiar wid this disease and the afteraffects of this disease specialy to married guyzz who in the night just try their experience to target something…….

Returning back to my frend,he was a severe pataeint of that disease but the day he entered the campus his eyesight started to improve in the night and when I came to knw dis gud news I asked him wat was the reason behind the sudden recovery then he said that for the past few months,for a hour or two daily he used to see these species in the night and try to focus on them and tried to detect every moment of them,which was a very difficult thing becoz during night its very difficult to detect these species untill and unless theu are wearing white reebok shoes or have their deadly smiles on their faces…After practicing that, he recovered and the doctors were amazed at such a recovery decided to usethat therapy in future,I hope eye docs will now be recruiting more and more nurses from kerala,but I think these species will do the best and hence the campus receives more placement………..

Guyz but these species are not making us feel horrified alone but the galz also(who are not the part oh hack community),u can think how pathetic it wud be for all of us to be awake in a jungle full of bears and other wild animals every day(it’s the galz hostel I m takin about) and also for the gals who compete physically with dese pseudo males on planet.So pleez bare with all the galz who are not the part of the hack community.

ear frendz I hope u all liked this small effort I made to xpose the danger and horror we all BITSIANS live under and also I think that this article will act as a booster for starting researches at our campus and soon we will be providing researches not in the field of “technology” but also in the field of “geology’ and “environmental sceinces’ as we have both the potential as well as research objects to research on……..
